Countach Ignition Plus Upgrade

Countach Ignition plus upgrade:

On the following pictures you can see my Countach.ch-Ignition Box Setup for all 5l Countachs, from the LP5000s up to the Anniversary.
This Box is a direct replacement for the original Magneti Marelli AEC 104 Unit which ages and causes problems in many cars.

Depending on the car you have, you will receive a ready to bolt-on unit with a mounting plate which fits into your car without the need to drill wholes and cut wires.

Following you see the unit in my own Countach QV, this Units fits in all QV carbed or FI doesn't matter.
Below the first pictures you can read the test impressions an independent owner of another QV got with the installed unit.

This proven concept is running on more than 30 cars...

For LM002 and Countach I have also a cheaper solution with a less expensive box,

Countach QV Setup

On the 31st of July we made test drives with an original Countach QV Chassis #GLA12034 with carbs, the car was very well tuned and runs really good.

First we bolted on the Permatune Unit which is a direct replacement for the original Magnetti Marelli Box and is very often used in Ferraris.

The Permatune box brought a signifant better throttle response, slightly more power and torque.
Power delivery was straight over the whole rpm range.

After this we installed my Countach.ch-Ignition Box Setup and this was a real blast.
Power increased over the whole rpm range, very aggressive and direct throttle response and you can also hardly stall the engine anymore.

Just look into the face of the owner of #GLA12034, in german we say
"One pictures tells more than a tousand words"...

25th Anniversary Example

In Octobre 2004 an Owner of a german 25th Anniversary contacted me because his car had cut offs, his box was also bad. We arranged a date to test my Countach.ch-Ignition Box Setup , after testing the box a whole day he immediately bougth one.

Countach LP500s Setup

I was also able to install a box on a swiss LP5000s CLA12490, it's the car of former Lamborghini Owner Rene Leimer...

Next step was to produce a special mounting plate for the LP500s version, DLA12662 was the first car to get one, furthers followed.
