MSD Installation:

On the following pictures you can see the V12-Engineering unit, they took a Blaster TFI Coil, PN 8227 and installed it on the box itself, because they took a small mounting plate, which is mounted sidewise in the car, at the position the Marelli-Box had.
I was not satisfied with this set-up and changed it to lengthwise, by making an own mounting plate.

Own box tested and installed

On the 31st of July we made test drives with an original Countach QV Chassis #GLA12034 with carbs, the car was tuned very well and runs really good.

First we bolted on the Permatune Unit which is a direct replacement for the original Magnetti Marelli Box and is very often used in Ferraris.

The Permatune box brought a much better throttle response, slightly more power and torque.
Power delivery was straight over the whole rpm range.

After this we installed my Countach.ch-Ignition Box Setup and this was a real blast.
Power was increased over the whole rpm range, very aggresive and direct throttle response and you can also hardly stall the engine anymore.

Just look into the face of the owner of #GLA12034, in german we say
"One pictures tells more than a tousand words"...

Now in Octobre 2004 a 25th Anniversary got also my Ignition Setup, after testing the box a whole day the owner immediately bougth it.

One box was also delivered to Bulgaria where an owner of a LP5000s will install and send some pictures.
