Countach Electric Problem
Fusebox

Common Problem on the Countach are bad ground connections.

On many younger Countach the relais/fuse box in the luggage compartment causes problems, on earlier QV's the fans relais are placed just behind the fans. On my personal car (#GLA12997) I found also a melted connector after being driven home from the 40th Anniversary event.

Find now some pictures and comments of John R.Vallandingham of http://www.pinnaclemotorsports.com, he altered this on a 25th Countach.

Here is the series of photos to the permanent Countach Radiator Fans Fuses meltdown problem:
Starting with the type of repair that won't last, trust me.

Permanent repair. This Modification/Upgrade has lasted for over 2 years now, without the slightest sign of degradation. The source for the Modificata Fuse Holders is any High End Stereo Instalation Center or Radio Shack....these Gold Holders are specificaly designed for "Continuous" High Amp Draws and have 800% more Surface Contact Area for the amperage to flow thru, totally eliminating heat building 'resitance' at the contact points/junctions. With the specific type of Holder I used the New Fuse Holder Case fits perfectly inside the Control Box and slips back perfectly into the Unit Holder without interference.

1- Melted factory fuse holder
2- Gold Plated High Amp Capacity Fuse Holder w/30a Gold Plated Fuses
